Event Location:

Online

On 4 November 2021 from 9:00 - 10:00 GMT, the Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE) of IFAD will host the side event Evidence-based transformative pathways for smallholder farmers’ resilience to climate change. In collaboration with the evaluation units of GCF and DEval, the event will be anchored around evidence emerging from IOE’s recent Thematic Evaluation of IFAD’s support to small holder farmers’ adaptation to climate change, as well as evaluations of IEU of GCF and DEval. The event will be following a TV Talk Show model, and pose the question “What can be done by governments and development actors to scale up and replicate successful climate adaptation response?”. The panel includes representatives of the  evaluation units of IFAD IOE, DEval and  GCF, as well as a former government official and IFAD management (representing development actors). It will be moderated by the Director of IOE of IFAD.
