Webinar and Blog on Geospatial, Location and Big data: Where have we been and where can we go

The European Evaluation Society (EES) had its first webinar series "Emerging Data Landscapes in M&E"on Geospatial, location, and big data: Where have we been and where can we go? on 28 July 2020. A blog on the webinar can be found here, as well as access to the full webinar recording.

 The interactive and free webinar featured speakers from the World Bank IEG, the Europe Commission's DEVCO/ESS, and the GEF, who provided concerete examples of using geospatial and location data to improve M&E practices. It also discussed possible barriers to using such technologies and brainstrmed ways to overcome them by inviting feedback and questions from the online audience.
