On October 28, 2014 Timo Leiter, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), presented the navigator of approaches for monitoring and evaluation of climate change adaptation. Download the full presentation.
How can we assess whether adaptation to climate change takes place and is successful? Decision makers and technical staff from city planners to portfolio managers are seeking information on how to design and operationalize M&E systems for adaptation. The webinar introduces the topic of adaptation (M&E) and presents the M&E navigator - a systematic mapping and decision support tool of approaches and methods for Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) of Adaptation to Climate Change. The M&E navigator helps users to enter the complex field of adaptation M&E and to identify starting points for their own M&E system. Participants also learn from practical examples of adaptation M&E at national and project level.
