Partner within ERM. He has 30 years’ experience with a focus on strategy formulation and strategic management, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement and conflict management. He has high level skills in the facilitation of multi-stakeholder groups, working with diverse interests and cultures on strategy formulation, assessment and evaluation and conflict management challenges. He is the Partner in Charge of ERM’s monitoring and evaluation of the Mitigation Action Plans and Scenarios (MAPS) programme which has involved the development of an M&E framework for a large scale climate change advocacy programme and real-time evaluation to ensure lessons learned are fed into the future operations of the project. In addition, David has worked with numerous public and private sector clients in developing Monitoring and Evaluation Frameworks to measure and guide corporate performance on sustainability related issues. He has worked extensively with diverse sectors, both public and private in numerous countries in Africa, the Americas and Europe.
