Serdar

Serdar Bayryyev is an evaluation expert with more than 15 years of experience in the evaluation of development programmes and emergency responses. He is currently a Senior Evaluation Officer at the FAO Office of Evaluation, leading evaluations related to programmes addressing issues of sustainable development, climate change adaptation and natural resources management. Before joining the FAO, he served as an Evaluation Specialist at the United Nations Development Programme, coordinating development of evaluation policies and procedures, design of evaluation quality assurance systems and managing thematic evaluations. His previous assignments within the United Nations System include the work at the World Bank Group and the UNFPA. Serdar holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Ukrainian Institute of International Relations and International Law.
