Free E-Learning Course on Evaluation and the 2030 Agenda

EvalSDGs and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) have teamed up to launch a free e-learning course on Evaluation and the 2030 Agenda. The course will be two weeks long (2-13 September). The deadline to register is 31 August 2019.

Learning objectives of the course include:

  1. Describe why evaluation is important in the context of the SDG era.
  2. Identify the challenges and opportunities for the development of national evaluation policies and systems and to effectively conduct follow-up and review processes towards achieving the SDGs.
  3. Analyze options to generate stronger evidence for the follow-up and review processes and for contributing to better decision-making to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs.
  4. Be able to apply tools and practices to build capacity for evaluation in the context of the SDGs.
